CHALLENGE:
StruXure of the Rockies partnered with the landscaping company to help this homeowner install the perfect pergola over their raised back patio with a unique octagon shape to part of the house. The pergola had to line up against a flat wall and wrap around this octagon shape in a limited space. This pergola installation required a very unique design to maximize the use of the space and fit the entire shape of the house.

SOLUTION:
Struxure of the Rockies custom designed and built beams and louvers around this octagon structure with a 3-zone Pivot 6, 26 ft. x 16 ft. The entire pergola over the patio space formed a watertight, louvered roof system that protected the dining room windows from the intense west-facing sun. The octagonal piece was part of an upper-story balcony featuring a beautiful stone exterior.
The beautiful pergola with an all-bronze roof and posts covered the entire patio to maximize the use of all the raised deck space. Fencing was installed to the sides to protect visitors in the raised space, with the same matching bronze color leading down the short set of stairs. StruXure of the Rockies’s patented pass-through gutter system provides superior drainage to divert water away from the structure. The louvered roof system allows various angles to let in the perfect amount of sunlight or close completely to protect the porch against rain and snow.
RESULTS:
The 3-zone Pivot 6 was the perfect addition to cover an outdoor kitchen and dining area. Lights, heaters, and fans create a comfortable setting for any weather condition. Adjust the louvers to enjoy a warm sunny day or minimize resistance during windy weather.
